Islamorada Fishing Report & Forecast ...

On the wrecks and reef, the sharks are ferocious!  The sharks have moved out of the bay and onto the reef and wrecks offshore due to the increasingly warm water temps this time of year.  These guys are making it very difficult to get the snappers away from them, but it isn’t impossible.  They are fun to catch, but they are extremely annoying when trying to put dinner in the box.  Good numbers of Jacks and some nicer Kings starting to move in as well.  Plenty to catch and lots of fun to be had by all.  You just have to have a little patience until the predators get their bellies full, and then you will get your dinner!

The fishing this week in the Upper Keys has been a bit slower than the past few weeks, at least on the offshore scene.  The Mahi bite has slowed a bit, but still remains decent.  The fish are definitely making their southward migration patt ...
