These boats are very
versatile, and accomplish a
good middle of the road type
of shallow water fishing.
Most guides in the area that
fish these vessels operate
between the deeper
backcountry flats, bay and
Gulf, and the
patch reefs. The majority of
these Captains will focus on
Tarpon, Trout, Sharks,
Redfish,
Snook,
Permit,
Snappers,
Cobia's, Mackerel, and Goliath
Groupers. These boats range from 19’
to 24’, and will generally
carry up to 4 people. These
vessels generally do not
have any enclosures to get
out of the sun, and don’t
have a bathroom. Pricing ranges from $500 to
$800
for a full day.
